Alex Green Joins Goldcrest Post
Alex Green joins Goldcrest Post’s Engineering team headed by Simon Ray as Mix Tech/ Engineeer. Previously Head Technical Engineer at Strongroom music studios and part of the technical team at Air Studios and Air Post Production, Green ran Strong Hire hiring Pro Tools systems and related audio equipment to post and music facilities across London.
Green is “looking forward to becoming a new Jedi of the DFC world” at Goldcrest where he’s already meeting clients’ Pro Tools requirements and tackling engineering challenges at a pace that rivals his whitewater kayaking hobby. Outside work, Al finds time to play bass and keyboards for a new act called Peter and Kerry (clearly he’s not important enough to be in the band’s name though). He is also part of the team putting on the In The Woodsmusic festival. Set in a secret woodland location, the festival now in its 7th year features some of the UK’s best new talent including Anna Calvi and Conan Mockasin. Al takes as much pride in being a key addition to Goldcrest’s talented engineering team as he does in being part of one the most unmissable parties on the UK music scene.
