Having worked on so many of this years top BAFTA nominated titles over what has been the company's busiest year ever, the team eagerly awaits the awards to toast the success of its clients and Goldcrest's contributions to the films.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Hugo, War Horse and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 have all been nominated for sound, with Goldcrest Post having recorded extensive ADR for all 4 films. Chalk mixed by Goldcrest's Jamie Roden and sound edited by Antony Bayman is also short listed in the short film category.

Goldcrest Film Production LLP helped finance Phyllida Lloyd's Iron Lady, which is shortlisted for Original Screenplay. It's star, 14-time BAFTA nominee Meryl Streep, is up for Best Leading Actress. Goldcrest Post’s Mark Appleby, Peter Gleaves, Simon Diggins and Mark Patterson all contributed to the audio side of Iron Lady as well.

Congratulations to Director/Writer Joe Cornish for his 'Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer' nomination recognising his "Bare Skills" on Attack the Block.
