Penny Wolf joins the Goldcrest Group
The Goldcrest Group is happy to announce the appointment of Penny Wolf as Head of Film at Goldcrest’s sales and distribution businesses.
Nick Quested, Executive Director, said, “Penny’s unquestionable experience, taste and contacts will provide the depth we need to rise to our distribution ambitions.”
Wolf is a widely respected figure on the international sales circuit, previously serving as London based Managing Director of Peace Arch Entertainment Group, the Canadian producer of The Tudors, in addition to numerous other film and TV projects. She founded HBO’s international sales operation serving as Managing Director, HBO Films London. Here she supervised Gus Van Sant's Palme D’Or winner Elephant, the multi-Emmy and Golden Globe winner The Life and Death of Peter Sellers and Oscar®-nominee Maria Full of Grace.

Wolf most recently leveraged her considerable experience in the distribution arena as founder of The Film Consultancy Partners, a London based boutique practice providing distribution and finance advice for clients including Target Entertainment Group, Enlightenment Films, World 2000 and Uncommon Productions. She has also held key sales roles at Granada Films, Capitol Films, Senator Film International, and worked on the sales of such titles as Vanity Fair, Gosford Park, and Dancing At Lughnasa.
