Goldcrest Films International is thrilled to announce the world premiere of Justin Chadwick’s THE FIRST GRADER, starring Naomie Harris and Oliver Litondo in the Toronto International Film Festival – Contemporary World Cinema, along with Sarah McCarthy’s documentary SOUND OF MUMBAI:  A MUSICAL making its world premiere in the festival’s specialty Real to Reel section.
 
At our office in Toronto (Hyatt Regency - Suite 1652), Goldcrest Films International will screen premiere footage from Gavin Weisen’s romantic coming-of-age drama HOMEWORK, starring Freddie Highmore and Emma Roberts, as well as the trailers of Reinout Oerlemans STRICKEN, starring Carice Van Houten, Barry Atsma and Anna Drijver, Simone North’s I AM YOU, starring Guy Pearce, Miranda Otto, Ruth Bradley and Sam Niell, and the breakout hit RESTREPO, directed and produced by Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger.  The award-winning RESTREPO, currently in release from National Geographic Films, to date has grossed over $1,000,000 in the US.  RESTREPO will be released by Dogwoof in the UK on 8 October.
